Experience
Susan Banda-Mudiwa is an Executive Coach with more than 20 years of leadership experience in the development sector and corporate world. She has worked with clients in leadership and other positions in multilateral organizations, entrepreneurial ventures, NGOs, and youth organizations, among others.

Current Role
Based in Kenya, Susan works with clients worldwide, including North America, Europe, the Middle East, south Asia, and eastern and southern Africa. Leaning on a broad experience base, Susan provides business coaching to entrepreneurs and leadership and management coaching across sectors, including banking and finance, legal, health, and development and humanitarian organizations. Her expertise lies in creating a safe space where individuals can explore their deepest thoughts and realize their potential and ambitions. During the coaching journey, Susan guides each client through a process of discovery, evaluating values and determining one’s legacy, leading to the realization of the leader’s highest potential and the attainment of purpose, significance, and security. As an executive coach, Susan uses a blended approach of face-to-face and virtual meetings as well as text and email messaging to build and maintain rapport.

Educational Background
Susan holds an Master of Arts in Journalism from the University of Missouri School of Journalism, a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication from Elizabethtown College (USA), and a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities (with Credit) from Chancellor College, University of Malawi.

Professional Affiliations
Susan is an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) with the International Coach Federation (ICF) and Certified Level II e-Coach with UNLOQ. She holds a Professional Practitioner Diploma in Executive Coaching and a Systemic Team Coaching Certificate from the Academy of Executive Coaching. She is trained and certified to debrief on several assessments, including the Center for Creative Leadership’s Benchmarks® 360 Assessments, WorkPlace Big Five Profile™, Influence Style Indicator, Conflict Dynamics Profile, WorkLife Indicator™, and Hogan assessments.
