Dr. Terry Kigundu is a versatile Facilitator and an Accredited Executive Coach. She has broad-based experience putting together needs based training packages. Adept at; assessing skills, curriculum development and delivery of tailor made capacity building initiatives for complex international development programs in Sub-Saharan Africa and Global at large. Dr. Kigundu is mission-driven and exceptionally seasoned transformational leader possessing 17 years of proven experience in providing training and coordination related to Leadership development and program management. She is passionate about women leadership, mentorship, and coaching, all aimed at advancing Gender Equality. Dr. Kigundu is a determined, results-driven leader who excels at tackling significant change initiatives and is masterful at collaboration and agility.

Dr. Kigundu deploys integrative and multidisciplinary approach in leadership and offers sound strategic directions. She has in-depth understanding of the political, social, and economic landscape of Africa having designed and implemented leadership development programs for senior and mid-level career women in over 60% of Africa.

Dr. Kigundu’s background has consistently been characterized by her steadfast dedication to training and capacity building programs for the development sector, governments, civil societies, Private sector, academia, NGO’s, and Multilaterals. She represents sound analysis and inspiring ideas anchored on transformational leadership that aims at unlocking the potential of individuals and organizations, for that is what she stands for and would go out of the traditional confines to using innovative and transformative approaches in leadership development.

Dr. Kigundu is a Senior Facilitator, with WomenLift Health- EA Hub, based in Nairobi Kenya. At WomenLift Health She, leads in the implementation of the Signature journey, facilitates monthly virtual learning touch points, in-person learning residencies that are focused on key elements of the signature Leadership Journey for mid-career women in health. She also facilitates additional sessions for the alumnae community and broader audiences including institutional partners, and quarterly Power-ups Workshops that are open to the public.  Dr. Kigundu also develops and contributes to the creation of new modules, in women leadership.

She has earned several Leadership Style Assessment Certifications including, Benchmark 360, WorkPlace Big Five™, Influence Style indicator, Conflict Dynamic Profile and Work life Indicator. She has also acquired various short courses in Leadership and Gender issues. Dr. Kigundu holds a PhD in Gender and Development Studies, she is a wife, a mother of two girls and a Kenyan national living in Nairobi- Kenya.
