Thuli Segalo

Experience
Thuli Segalo’s career spans several years serving blue chip organizations. At Investec, she spent 8 years managing the Private Bank Account contact center and serving as a member of the Private Bank Account operations management team. She later served as Business Development Manager for Absa Fund Managers for 3 years, managing a team of business development consultants and contributing as a member of the executive management team. Thuli also managed the design, development, and implementation of the MultiChoice Group Leadership and Women development strategy.

Current Role
Since 2015, Thuli has served as the Director and Executive Coach for Better ME Business Coaching. She has also been a Systemic Team Coach since 2018 and a Professional Associate at the Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS) since 2017, where she serves as an Executive and Group Coach. Based in South Africa, Thuli has more than 1500 hours of coaching global leaders throughout southern and eastern Africa, North America, Singapore, Brazil, Norway, and the UK. She supports clients across a range of industries and at different levels of leadership.

Educational Background
Thuli earned a Master of Management in Business and Executive Coaching from Wits Business School (WBS), a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) in Industrial Psychology from the University of South Africa (UNISA), and a Leading Women Certificate from the Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS). Thuli also completed the Management Advancement Programme with WBS, and holds a Diploma in Business Analysis from the Faculty Training Institute, and a Bachelor of Social Science in Psychology and Sociology from University of Natal, Pietermaritzburg (UNP).

Professional Affiliations
She is credentialed by the International Coach Federation (ICF) as a Professional Certified Coach (PCC). She holds a Systemic Team Coaching Certificate and later a Diploma from the Academy of Executive Coaching (AoEC) and Metaco. Additionally, she completed the Advanced Professional Business Coaching Programme with GIBS and earned a Professional Certificate in Coaching from Henley Business School. Thuli is trained and certified in debriefing assessments such as the Center for Creative Leadership’s Benchmarks® 360 Assessments, WorkPlace Big Five Profile™, Influence Style Indicator, Conflict Dynamics Profile, and WorkLife Indicator™.
