Vivian Kwame is a dynamic Digital Communications Specialist passionate about advocating for gender equality and changing the narratives surrounding women and girls. With a robust skill set in digital advocacy, content strategy, and social media management, she designs and executes strategic communication plans, publications, and reports that enhance girls’ and women’s access to leadership positions.

Vivian has over five years of experience in the sustainability and women’s rights sectors. Throughout her career, she has focused on enhancing digital presence and building meaningful relationships with constituents, partners, stakeholders, and donors. Driven by a commitment to amplify underrepresented voices, she strives to foster positive societal change. Her work demonstrates the power of communication in shaping a more just and equitable world, and she remains dedicated to harnessing this potential to create a lasting global impact.

Prior to joining WomenLift Health, she served as the Communications Associate—digital at Akili Dada, a young women-led leadership incubator for African girls and women. In this role, she led comprehensive digital engagement strategies that enhanced the visibility of the organization’s work and fostered a dedicated online community. Her role encompassed managing social media, creating high-quality reports and publications, and collaborating with executive teams to shape compelling content strategies. Additionally, she mentored over 50 adolescent girls on sexual and Reproductive Health Rights (SRHR. She trained over 30 young women in digital storytelling and advocacy, empowering them to use communication for social change. She has also worked at the KCIC Consulting firm as an editor and writer.

She is pursuing an M.A. in Development Communications at Daystar University and holds a BA in Communications—Print Media from Daystar University. She is also an Alumni of the New Managers Leadership program at Strathmore University.
